OREM, Utah - Utah Valley baseball travels to the Pacific Northwest this week to face Oregon State and Saint Mary's.
The Wolverines (5-11) will open the weekend facing Oregon State on Thursday at 6 p.m. MT. On Friday, UVU will play twice beginning at 2 p.m. MT vs. Saint Mary's before facing the Beavers (8-5) at 6 p.m. MT. The Wolverines will wrap up the weekend against the Gaels (10-7) with a 2 p.m. MT first pitch on Saturday.
Utah Valley has lost six straight including being swept in a four-game series at Gonzaga last week, despite out-hitting the bulldogs 37-33 over the course of the series.
Freshman Riley White hit a team-high .419 before suffering a season-ending injury. Jace Brinkerhoff is batting .394 with six doubles while slugging .530 for the Wolverines.
Senior Ryan Jones is hitting .328 and is currently on an 11-game hit streak. Jones leads the team with eight multi-hit games.
