Blake Krahenbuhl got the win in his first career start. He allowed four runs on six hits in six innings of work. Ryan Chadwick and Craig Brimhall threw the final three innings with Brimhall earning his first save after a perfect ninth.

On Deck
The Wolverines play five in-state games beginning on Tuesday at Utah. Southern Utah will be in Orem for a four-game series next Thursday-Saturday, April 1-3.
About the Opposition
Gonzaga lost at Washington State, 7-5, in a midweek game on Tuesday. The Bulldogs (8-12) have lost five straight with three of those coming at No. 13 UC Irvine last weekend. Four the five losses have been by three runs or less. Drew Heid leads the team with a .409 batting average and has four home runs. Andy Hunter is hitting .341 with team-highs of six home runs and 23 batted in.
The series between the Wolverines and Bulldogs has been a lopsided one, with Gonzaga owning a 13-3 all-time lead. The Wolverines were swept in a four-game series in 2009, a year that saw the Bulldogs get to an NCAA Regional. This will be the first time the two teams will meet in Orem.
