This Week's Action
Utah Valley will play a three-game series against a Pac 10 school for the second time in as many weeks when the Wolverines (3-7) travel to Washington State at Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman. The series begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. MT with games Saturday at 3 p.m. MT and Sunday at 1 p.m. MT.

Series Probables
The Wolverines are scheduled to go with the same series rotation that took the mound last week at Arizona. Blake Krahenbuhl, Justin Campbell and Kyle Beecher, in order, will oppose lefty Adam Conley, James Wise and Chad Arnold.
Last Time Out
Utah Valley was swept in a three-game series at Arizona, which sits at No. 14 in this week's Baseball America poll. The Wolverines have lost five straight overall after the Wildcats games by scores of 4-3, 6-3 and 9-3. UVU had its chances in each game but failed to knock off the Pac 10 school. Chris Benson had six hits in the series and hit .500. All six of Benson's hits came in consecutive at-bats.
About Washington State
The Cougars are led at the plate by Matt Argyropoulos, who is batting .536 with three home runs while Taylor Ard has also belted three homers for WSU. The starting duo of Conley and Wise have combined to produce a 5-1 record and both have sported excellent numbers. Conley is 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA and has a 23-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Wise is 2-1 with a 2.04 ERA and has struck out 17 in 17.2 innings.

Utah Valley will host Southern Utah in the first home series of the year next Thursday-Saturday, March 15-17.
