OREM, Utah - Fresh off of the biggest comeback win in school history, Utah Valley will travel to Sacramento State this week for three games beginning Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. PT. The team's also play Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. PT.

This weekend's series can be heard live on WolverineGreen.com, weather permitting, or on HornetSports.com. Live stats are available at HornetSports.com.

The Wolverines (4-12) erased an 11-1 deficit last Saturday against Southern Utah and got a two-run, walk-off home run from Austin Heaps in the 10th inning to win 13-11. It was the first walk-off home run since March 18 of the 2010 season, when Sage Thorpe did it at home against Portland.

Chris Benson was 8-for-15 in the series and was named the Great West Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday. Benson leads the team with a .412 average. Goose Kallunki doubled three times in the SUU series and is tied with Benson for the team lead with 11 RBI.

Alex Exon started two games and was 4-for-7, hitting a go-ahead triple late in the middle game of the series and in the finale, hit a two-out double in the bottom of the ninth in what turned out to be the tying run that forced extra innings.

Sac State (5-16), which competes in the WAC in baseball, holds a 9-4 all-time series lead over Utah Valley and is led by first-year head coach Reggie Christianson. Last week the Hornets dropped two home games to Minnesota and lost two of three over the weekend at Cal State Northridge.

Utah Valley will play its next 12 games and 16 out of 17 on the road before playing 18 of the final 23 regular season games at home. Next week, the Wolverines travel to Salt Lake City to face Utah in a Tuesday midweek game before heading to Nevada for three games over the weekend.
