DAVIS, Calif. – Utah Valley University seemed poised to take a road series at UC Davis but the Aggies scored four times over the final two innings to steal the finale, 7-6, on Sunday afternoon.
The Aggies (3-2) scored three times in the eighth to tie the game and won in in the ninth on an RBI double by Ryan Anderson to win their second straight and take the series after UVU won Friday's series opener. The Wolverines (1-5) were hurt by four errors that led to three unearned runs, including two of the three in the eighth.
Utah Valley got a quality start from

Jake Berry drove in two runs.
For the second time in the series, the Wolverines scored in the top of the first. On Sunday, Peterson reached on a bunt single and later scored on a two-out single from Overlund. UC Davis tied it in the bottom half with Alex Aguiar, who led off with a double, scoring on a groundball to second off the bat of Cameron Olson.
Aided by an error in the second, the Wolverines responded with two to take a 3-1 lead.
Callahan Moltzan doubled home
Kade Poulsen, who reached on an error to start the inning. Moltzan came across to score on a
Trevor Howell sacrifice fly.
UVU made it 4-1 in the third after

Leading 4-2 in the top of the fifth, Peterson singled to lead off the inning and stole second and later scored on Overlund's second double of the game. Berry singled home Overlund to make it 6-2 Utah Valley.
The last two runs in the three-run eighth for UC Davis came with two outs. Ryan Hooper scored on a wild pitch before Aguiar delivered the game-tying double that plated Guillermo Salazar.
