QUICK HITS
- Utah Valley University closes out its 2018 Western Athletic Conference home schedule with a three-game series against Seattle University.

- The series begins Friday at 6 p.m. MT with Saturday's game also at 6 p.m. MT and Sunday's finale at noon MT.

- The Wolverines enter the series needing to make up ground in the race for the sixth, and final, spot in the 2018 WAC Tournament in Mesa, Arizona in two weeks. UVU is currently one game back of UT Rio Grande Valley for seventh and two games behind CSU Bakersfield for sixth.

- Utah Valley is also one game in the loss column behind Northern Colorado, who is currently fifth. The Wolverines would own any two-way tiebreaker over both Northern Colorado and UTRGV with CSU Bakersfield holding the tiebreaker over UVU.

- Saturday's game will also be Senior Night for the nine seniors on the 2018 roster. Marco Briones, Jackson Cofer, Jake Mayer, David Modler, Callahan Moltzan, Jackson Overlund, Trevor Peterson, Kaden Schmitt, and Ondrej Sebek will all be recognized prior to the game.

- Utah Valley is coming off of a series sweep at the hands of New Mexico State last weekend in Las Cruces. The Wolverines had a lead in the series opener but a three-run inning led to a 4-3 loss against the Aggies.

- UVU will play its final home game of the season next Tuesday against the University of Utah at 6 p.m. MT at UCCU Ballpark. It's a game that was re-scheduled from April 17.

- The regular season wraps up at Sacramento State with a three-game WAC series beginning Thursday, May 17.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
Seattle University enters the weekend at 11-7 and in fourth place in the WAC, one game in the loss column behind New Mexico State. The Redhawks are still in the hunt for a WAC regular season title, three games behind league-leading Grand Canyon, which hosts second-place Sacramento State this weekend. Seattle U dropped two games at home against Portland in a midweek series.
The Redhawks are batting .289 as a club, with six players batting .312 or better. Senior Sean Sutton is hitting .340 with five home runs and a team-high 43 RBIs while Dalton Hurd is hitting .330 with seven home runs, 14 doubles and 40 runs batted in.
