OREM, Utah – Utah Valley baseball heads to the Pacific Northwest to open WAC play against the 2-11 Seattle U Redhawks. The three-game series runs Mar. 17-19 from Bannerwood Ballpark In Bellevue, Wash.

Utah Valley is coming off a series split with Lehigh last week and won a mid-week game against Northwest Nazarene to go 3-2 in the home opening weekend. Freshmen
Cameron Rowe hit .500, and
Daniel Dickinson hit .400 after being moved to the leadoff spot.

The trip to Seattle will be a homecoming for multiple players and coaches with ties to the Pacific Northwest. UVU has five players and three coaches with Washington roots.

Seattle U is 2-11 on the year and are coming off being swept in their first WAC series of the year to Sam Houston. Seattle U is looking to snap its six-game losing streak. They are led by starting pitchers Peter Chronowski and Nester German. Hudson Shupe has a .367 batting average on the year.
The two teams will play starting on Mar. 17 at 5:00 p.m. MT and continue on Mar. 18 at 3:00 p.m. MT. The series concludes with a game on Sunday, Mar. 18, at 1:00 p.m. MT. UVU will play at BYU on Mar. 21 with a 6:00 p.m. MT start.
