LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines swept Bushnell over the weekend in Orem. The bats were hot in the series as UVU tagged the Beacons staff for 36 runs over the three games.
Jayden Smith led the team, going 7-for-11 (.636) on the weekend with four doubles.

Matthew Schwarz all hit over .400 or better during the series.
POWER ON
The Wolverines broke a program record with 12 home runs in a three-game series against Stephen F. Austin. The previous record was 11, set in 2009. The UVU bats have stayed hot as they tied a program record with six home runs in a game against Bushnell. The 2024 team is now tied with two of the all-time great teams in UVU history, as the 2012 team hit six against Southern Utah on Mar. 29, 2012, and the 2010 team added six against NYIT on May 8, 2010.
HISTORY VS. BIG 12
This will be UVU's first meeting with a Big 12 opponent since taking on Texas Tech in 2013. The Wolverines have only played two other Big 12 teams and are 0-3 all-time vs. Texas Tech and 1-3 all-time against Oklahoma State. They met the Cowboys in Stillwater in May of 2008 and won the final game of the series 11-3.

Utah Valley returns to WAC play starting Thursday, Mar. 28-30, with a three-game series at Abilene Christian. The Wildcats are 6-3 in WAC games and 15-10 overall. They are in a three-way tie for third with UVU and UT Arlington.
