OREM, Utah— Utah Valley baseball returns to WAC play this week with a three-game WAC series at Abilene Christian. The series starts on Thursday, Mar. 28, at 5:05 p.m. MT from Crutcher-Scott Field in Abilene. It continues Friday, Mar. 29, at 5:05 p.m. MT and will conclude on Saturday, Mar. 30, at 11:05 a.m. MT. It is the first time the two teams have played since ACU joined the WAC.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
All games of the series will air on ESPN+, and live stats will be available on UVUstats.com.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley swept Bushnell last weekend at UCCU Ballpark. They scored 36 runs in the three games, including six home runs, which tied the all-time program record for most home runs in a game. It was the Wolverines' second consecutive weekend sweep.

They followed up the series win with a 15-11 win over BYU on Monday. Utah Valley used a nine-run seventh inning to come from behind and earn the win. Cole Jordan finished 2-for-2 with four walks to reach base six times. His second-inning Grand Slam put UVU up 4-0 and set the tone offensively in the win.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Abilene Christian enters 15-10 and 6-3 this weekend in the WAC. Gino D'Alessio leads the Wildcats in hitting at .372 with six homers and 29 RBIs this season. Miller Ladusau was a preseason All-WAC selection and is currently second on the team with a .360 average. The ACU pitching staff has been solid this year, with a 4.96 ERA. Freshman lefty Brett Lanman was named the WAC Pitcher of the Week, with fellow starter Iain Campa winning the award earlier this year.

PLAYING THE LONG BALL
Burke Camper's third-inning home run at BYU on Monday was UVU's 50th homer of the season. They lead the WAC this year, with Grand Canyon sitting second with 33. The Wolverines are tied for tenth in the country in home runs and will chase the UVU program record of 79 set by the 2010 team.

TOUCHING HOME
Daniel Dickinson is leading the WAC in runs scored. He has touched home plate 33 times this season to lead the conference and ranks in the Top-30 nationally in the category. The Wolverines have scored 190 runs this season and average 7.60 runs per game to lead the WAC.

UP NEXT
The Wolverines will play the next five games against in-state opponents, starting with two games with Utah. The series begins on Monday, Apr. 1, with a 6:00 p.m. MT start at Smith's Ballpark before shifting south to UCCU Ballpark on Tuesday, Apr. 2, at 6:05 p.m. MT. Utah Valley will host Utah Tech in a three-game WAC series beginning on Friday, Apr. 5.
