OREM, Utah – Utah Valley baseball hosts UT Arlington in a three-game series this weekend at UCCU Ballpark. The series is crucial for both teams for next month's University Credit Union WAC Baseball Tournament. The series starts on Friday, Apr. 19 at 6:05 p.m. MT and will continue with games on Saturday, Apr. 20 at 2:05 p.m. MT and Sunday, Apr. 21 at 12:05 p.m. MT.

ABOUT THE MAVERICKS
UT Arlington is 15-22 and 10-8 against WAC opponents. They are coming off a series loss to Grand Canyon and a midweek loss to Big 12 foe Baylor. Tyson Pointer leads UTA in hitting at .313 on the season with three homers and 20 RBIs. Parker Airhart has hit nine of the team's 21 home runs of the year. The pitching staff has one of the lowest ERAs in the WAC coming in at 5.04.
ALL-TIME VS. UT ARLINGTON
The two programs will meet for the fifth time in the series opener on Apr. 19, with Utah Valley holding a 3-1 all-time advantage. UVU came out victorious in last year's series in Arlington, where they battled the weather and a long delay to win two of three. They met up again in Mesa at the WAC Tournament, where
Logan Gerling tossed a complete game shutout in a 16-0 rout to move the Wolverines into the WAC Championship game.
DICKINSON GOES FOR THE RECORD
UVU sophomore
Daniel Dickinson is tied with Chris Benson for the most steals in UVU history with 34. He tied the record on Tuesday with a pair of stolen bases against Utah. On the year, he is a perfect 24-24 on the base paths, which has him eighth in the country and leading the WAC.
CAMPER EARNS THIRD BUSTER POSEY WATCH LIST NOMINATION
Senior catcher
Burke Camper was named to the watch list for the annual Buster Posey Award, given to the nation's top catcher. He has been a key to the UVU offense, leading them with a .464 on-base percentage and tied for second on the team with 13 home runs.
HOME RUN WATCH
Utah Valley needs four home runs to break the program of 79. The Wolverines enter the weekend with 76 on the season, with Dickinson leading the team with 14, Camper with 13.
