LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines are coming off a 3-1 weekend, where they won a weekend series at California Baptist before finishing a sweep of Utah Tech in the Old Hammer Rivalry in St. George.  Utah Valley enters the weekend in fifth place in the WAC and three games back first place GCU with nine WAC games left.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
Seattle U enters the weekend at 13-31 and 6-15 in the WAC. They beat in-state foe Washington State on Tuesday while holding the Cougars to just two hits. Derek Gellos leads Seattle U in batting average at a .366 clip and has added three homers on the year. Sam Kane leads the team with eight big flies. On the bump, keep an eye on Blake Smith, who is 4-5 this year with a team-best 4.35 ERA.

ABOUT THE COUGARS
BYU is 17-24 and will be on the road in the Sunshine State against Miami this weekend. Easton Jones leads the Cougars with a .308 average and has launched 12 home runs with 31 RBIs. Cooper Vest and Collin Reuter have added an offensive punch with eight and seven homers, respectively. The first meeting was a slugfest in Provo, with the Wolverines coming from behind after a nine-run seventh inning for the 15-11 win.

CAMPER EARS WAC HITTER OF THE WEEK HONOR
In nine official at-bats, the Allison Park, Pa. native recorded eight runs, with three of his five hits in the series going for extra bases and holding a .556 batting average in the process with a home run and four RBIs.

Camper is the current career leader in on-base percentage with a .487 and moved into the Top 10 in home runs during his two seasons in Orem. This year, he is tied for the team lead in home runs with 17 and needs one to tie Goose Kallunki for the all-time program single-season record.

HOME RUN RECORD
Daniel Dickinson and Burke Camper have pulled away from other Wolverines in the home run chase of 2024. They each need one to tie all-time single-season home run leader Goose Kallunki, who hit 18 back in 2012. In the career record chase, Dickinson is fifth all-time with 26 and leads current teammate Cole Jordan, who is sixth with 24.

UP NEXT
The Wolverines will make their final regular season road trip for a showdown with fourth-place Tarleton State in Stephenville May 10-12.  The series may be critical for seeding the University Credit Union WAC Baseball Tournament.
