ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference announced the 2024 All-WAC teams ahead of this week's University Credit Union WAC Baseball Tournament. Daniel Dickinson earned his second first-team honor at second base, while UVU's Burke Camper and Luke Iverson also earned spots on the team.

"These are some great individual recognitions for some of our players that highlight their exceptional production this season," said UVU head coach Eddie Smith.

Dickinson earned his second consecutive spot on the First Team after hitting .374 in 30 WAC games and finished tied for first with 12 stolen bases. He scored 33 runs for the Wolverines and finished tied for fourth in WAC play with 46 hits while leading the conference overall with 84 hits and 68 runs scored.

Camper earned his first nod on the All-WAC team. He finished the WAC regular season with a .327 batting average and had a .507 on-base percentage for UVU. He won the WAC Hitter of the Week award for his performance against California Baptist, where he reached 14 times and had a .778 on-base percentage. In his nine official at-bats, he scored eight runs and recorded three extra-base hits.

Overall, Camper tied the UVU single-season home run record with 18 and hit 11 against WAC foes to finish tied for second in the conference. He broke UVU's single season walks record and now has drawn 45 on the season.

Iverson earned his first All-WAC honor and finished the 2024 season with a .277 batting average in 37 games played. He earned the designation this season as the designated hitter but also saw time in the outfield. The St. George native finished the year with four home runs and drove home 33 runs for the Wolverines' potent offensive attack.

He set a new career-high with five RBIs this season at California Baptist in a game where he had two key extra-base hits to help UVU even the series against the Lancers.

GCU's Tyler Wilson was named WAC Player of the Year, and ACU's Brett Lanman won both WAC Pitcher and Freshman of the Year. Josh Paino from California Baptist won WAC Defensive Player of the Year, and Greg Wallis from Grand Canyon was voted Coach of the Year.
