GREENSBORO, N.C. – Utah Valley second baseman Daniel Dickinson was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) West All-Region team on Tuesday. Members of the ABCA voted on the team.

Dickinson adds to his impressive list of awards already earned this season, including WAC Preseason Player of the Year, Dick Howser Award semifinalist, and All-WAC First Team. He was named the top 2025 draft prospect in the WAC by D1 Baseball and Perfect Game.

"Daniel is receiving yet another award for a stellar season. His effort and competitive spirit continue to be recognized," said UVU head coach Eddie Smith.

Dickinson finished 2024, leading UVU in batting average (.367), slugging percentage (.661), and hits (90). He highlighted his 2024 campaign when he tied the single-season home run record with 18, and now is tied with teammate Burke Camper and 2012 All-American Goose Kallunki.

He was one of three players from the Western Athletic Conference on the team with Grand Canyon's Tyler Wilson and CBU's Nick Dumesnil.

Dickinson will play for the Harwich Mariners in the historic Cape Cod League this summer. The 2024 season begins on Friday, June 15. Fans looking to follow him this summer can watch games on capeleaguetv.com.
