OREM, Utah – Utah Valley baseball hosts the defending JUCO World Series champions, Salt Lake Community College, on Friday, Oct. 17, beginning at 1:00 p.m. MT. The Wolverines and Bruins will play three seven-inning games, with 15 minutes between each. Admission is free at UCCU Ballpark in Orem.
 
SLCC finished 48-11 last season, going 21-3 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. Led by coach David (DG) Nelson, the Bruins captured the JUCO World Series title with a 9-6 victory over Walters State. In Grand Junction, they went 5-1, with their only loss to Lakeland Community College.
 
Seventeen players from Nelson's 2025 squad have moved on to four-year colleges at various levels of collegiate baseball.
 
The Wolverines will conclude their 2025 fall season with the three-game Wolverine World Series from Oct. 29-31 at UCCU Ballpark.
