Wolverines Close Out Fall with the Wolverine World Series

OREM, Utah – Utah Valley baseball will close out the 2025 fall season with the Wolverine World Series, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. MT. The series continues Thursday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Oct. 31, with both games starting at 2 p.m. MT. Admission to all games is free.
 
Team Black will be led by Matthew Wrobleski and joined on staff by pitching coach Luke Kimmel, third base coach Luke Iverson, and first base coach Carter Seeley. Devan Bennett will serve as the team's trainer.
 
Team Black: Derek Houston, Brody Block, Trenton Rowan, Cooper Brass, Ray Hernandez, Cooper Littledike, Landon Zaborowski, Bradley Gilbert, Josh Mawhinney, Jimmy De Anda, Cohen Baack, Colton Kennedy, DJ Massey, Jet Jones, Max Stanley, and Sawyer Wickstrom.
 
Kevin Mitchell will lead Team Green. He is joined by pitching coach Jacob Beltran, third base coach Niko Rosell, first base coach Jordan Chancellor, and athletic trainer AC Cherrington.
 
Team Green: Kaden Carpenter, Quinn Holt, Hunter Katschke, Jacob Heppner, Jayden Smith, Chipper Beck, Maddux Peck, Naun Haro, Will Applegate, Trey Jacobsen, George Albrecht, Garrett Miller, Chance Wallace, Mario Bejarano, Aaron Rice, Joseph Barnhardt, Liwai Correa, and Mason Hamlin.
 
In earlier fall action, Utah Valley swept three games from the College of Southern Idaho back on Oct. 3 before winning two of three against the defending JUCO National Champions, Salt Lake Community College Bruins. The World Series wraps up fall baseball, and UVU will begin to prepare for the 2026 season, which is scheduled to start on Friday, Feb. 13.
