BROADCAST INFO
The game will be carried on ESPN+, with Dave McCann and Gary Sheide on the call. Jordan Bianucci will have the call for Utah Valley on GoUVU.com. UVUstats.com will carry live stats for the game.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines are coming off their first series win over Grand Canyon since the 2016 season after they scored 33 runs over the three-game series. WAC Hitter of the Week, Landon Frei finished with four hits during the series, with three of them going for home runs. Dominic Longo II led the team in hits with nine over the three games, with four runs scored and six RBIs.

The UVU starting staff had an excellent weekend, with all their starters going at least five innings. They held the Lopes' bats to a .253 average to clinch the series.

SCOUTING BYU
The Cougars enter the game with a 17-16 record and 5-10 in the Big 12. They are coming off a losing series this weekend to rival Utah. Offensively, they are led by Bryker Hurdsman, who is hitting .363 with three homers and 19 RBIs. Pleasant Grove native Brock Watkins is a close second with a .351 average, nine homers, and 32 RBIs.

In a midweek matchup, you may expect to see a lot of pitchers, but they will start LHP Brett Hansen (1-0, 7.56 ERA). The southpaw will be making his third start and will be opposed by Aaron Rice, who tossed a complete game last week at UNLV, where he only surrendered one run and tallied a career-high seven strikeouts.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST BYU
BYU holds a 36-11 lead in the all-time series, and the two are near 50 all-time matchups. They split last season, with Utah Valley coming out on top 15-11 in Provo behind a nine-run seventh inning, but the Cougars edged the Wolverines in May at UCCU Ballpark, 4-2.

UP NEXT
The Wolverines will host Tarleton State this week for a three-game WAC series that begins on Thursday, Apr. 17, at 6:05 p.m. MT. The Cougars will make the return trip for the final regular season matchup on Monday, Apr. 21, with Utah coming in on Tuesday, Apr. 22. The homestand concludes later next week with California Baptist.
