OREM, Utah – Utah Valley will wrap up an eight-game homestand this weekend when they host California Baptist beginning on Friday, Apr. 27 at 6:00 p.m. MT before continuing play on Saturday, Apr. 28 at 4:05 p.m. MT and Sunday, Apr. 28 at 12:05 p.m. MT. The series is the second-to-last at home in the 2025 season.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines will look to get back on track as they enter the series having lost six of their last seven but remain in a three-way tie for first place in the WAC with Grand Canyon and Sacramento State. They fell earlier this week with losses coming against BYU and Utah.
CJ Colyer finished 3-for-3 against the Utes, with all three hits as extra base hits with a triple and a pair of doubles.
Luke Iverson homered in both games and extended his reach-base streak to 40 games, tying
Landon Frei, who now holds the school record. However, his streak was snapped by his former team, Utah, on Tuesday.
Cooper Littledike,
Sawyer Wickstrom, and
Luke Kimmel each tossed two innings in the contest, not allowing a run.
ABOUT THE LANCERS
California Baptist is 22-19 overall and 5-7 in the WAC. They played earlier this week, falling to UC Santa Barbara 7-6 on Monday. They dropped their series last weekend to Sacramento on the road. Ryan Kim is tied for the team lead in home runs with seven, and last year hit four against Utah Valley. WAC Preseason Player of the Year, Nick Dumensnil, is hitting .308 with six home runs and 34 RBIs.
The Lancers have one of the top ERAs in the WAC with a 4.95 with the weekend starting rotation, with Cody New and Andrew Rudd both having a 3.40 ERA.
ALL-TIME SERIES
California Baptist holds a 13-4 record all-time against UVU, with the Wolverines winning the series in Riverside last season. It will mark CBU's second visit to Orem and the first since 2022.

Utah Valley will travel next week for a three-game WAC series at UT Arlington before closing out WAC play with Sacramento State. The Wolverines have their bye week of WAC play for the final weekend of regular season play.
