GOODYEAR, Ariz.—Chloe Jang recorded a top-30 finish to lead the Utah Valley University women's golf team at the Bobcat Desert Classic, which concluded Wednesday at Golf Club of Estrella.
Utah Valley finished 12th in the 13-team field with a three-round score of 59-over-par 923 (306-310-307).
Jang paced the Wolverines with a 9-over-par 225 (72-78-75) to tie for 30th on the individual leaderboard.
Valentina Zuleta and Maria Ortiz each tied for 52nd with 17-over-par 233 totals. Zuleta carded rounds of 79-75-79, while Ortiz posted rounds of 76-78-79.
Pati Uluave finished tied for 59th at 19-over-par 235 (80-80-75), and Rylie Rodriguez tied for 62nd at 20-over-par 236 (79-79-78).
Competing as an individual, Alyssa Butterfus finished 77th at 30-over-par 246 (78-91-77).
Seattle captured the team title at 9-over-par 873, while Wyoming's Kiley Reisner earned medalist honors at 5-under-par 211.
Utah Valley will next compete at the 2026 WAC Women's Golf Championship, set for April 20-22 at The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch, The Hills Course in McKinney, Texas.
