Wolverines Travel to Provo for Midweek Matchup With BYU

OREM, Utah – Utah Valley baseball is set to play BYU on Tuesday night in the second meeting of the Crosstown Clash this season. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. MT from Miller Field in Provo. BYU won the season's first meeting, 10-5, and currently holds a four-game winning streak in the series.

The game will air on ESPN+ with Dave McCann and Gary Sheide on the call from Provo. Jordan Bianucci and Brice Larson will have the radio call on 103.9 and 98.3 ESPN The Fan. Live stats will be available at GoUVU.com/stats.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley took one of three contests this weekend at Abilene Christian in its final road trip of the WAC era. The Wolverine bullpen combination of Bradley Gilbert and Colton Kennedy limited the Wildcats to just three hits over eight combined innings to help UVU earn the victory. Gilbert finished with a career-high five innings and seven strikeouts, while Kennedy earned the win after tossing three innings with six strikeouts.
 
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
BYU enters the final midweek game of the 2026 season at 25-25 overall and 13-14 in the Big 12. Ezra McNaughton leads the Cougars with a .346 batting average, 14 home runs and 48 RBIs this season, while BYU is hitting a combined .281 as a team. Ryder Robinson and Easton Jones are both hitting above .300 this season.
 
On the mound, Blade Paragas will get the start after pitching one inning this season in a single appearance.
