REDSHIRT ~ (2011-12): Redshirted the season and went 3-1 while competing unattached at 197 pounds. 

FRESHMAN ~ (2010-11): 7-13 overall record (2-7 duals) ... placed third at the UVU Open on Jan. 8 after going 3-1 ... picked up wins over AFA's Neil Delaney (3-1, dec.) and SDSU's Cord Willers (15-3, MD) in dual matches ... won three bouts by decision, two by fall and two by major decision. 

Before Utah Valley ...
Prepped at Pocatello HS in Pocatello, Idaho ... was an Idaho State Champion in 2009 and 2010 and was undefeated both years with 39-0 and 38-0 respective records ... finished third in State in 2008 with a 38-9 record ... in 2009 he was also a Triplecrown winner, a two-time FILA Junior All-American Runner-up in Greco, 3rd in Freestyle ... in 2010 he was again the Triplecrown winner, a two-time FILA Junior All-American Runner-up in Greco, 5th in Freestyle and a Junior Greco National Champion.

Graduated from Pocatello HS in 2010 with a 3.0 GPA ... major is undecided for now at UVU ... also recruited by Boise State, Oregon State, Arizona State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa and Wyoming ... parents are Roger and Katrina Rupp.
