OREM, Utah -Â Utah Valley State will make the short trip to Provo on Tuesday night for a match up with BYU. It will be the second of four games this season between the neighbors. The first game took place last Tuesday in Orem with BYU topping the Wolverines 8-6.
Utah Valley (12-26) is coming off of a weekend against fellow D-I Independent Northern Colorado where the Wolverines took two out of three games, winning a series outright for the first time this season.
Former BYU pitcher Kalen Parsons pitched a seven-inning complete game in an 8-2 win on Saturday over the Bears. Parsons allowed two runs and struck out eight in earning his second win of the season.
BYU (15-20) lost two out of three at Pac-10 school Washington last weekend.Â

Following the game at BYU, the Wolverines will prep for a three-game series at WAC school Nevada this weekend. The games are scheduled for 6pm PST on Friday and 1pm PST on both Saturday and Sunday.Â
