OREM, Utah – Utah Valley head baseball coach Nate Rasmussen announced the 2025 Utah Valley fall schedule, which features a pair of top-ranked junior college programs. The Wolverines will open Friday, Oct. 3, against the College of Southern Idaho before hosting NJCAA national champion Salt Lake Community College on Friday, Oct. 17.

CSI finished the 2025 season with a 30-28 record and will make the trip to Orem for the second consecutive fall. The Golden Eagles went 8-16 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

SLCC made national headlines when it won the 2025 NJCAA national championship in the spring. The Bruins finished 48-11 overall and 21-3 in the SWAC. In the World Series, they scored at least nine runs in each game, including defeating top-seeded Walters State in the championship.

The fall season concludes with the three-game Wolverine World Series starting Wednesday, Oct. 29, and continuing Thursday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Oct. 31.

Utah Valley is coming off its second WAC tournament title and an appearance in the NCAA regionals, where it defeated No. 12 seed Oregon 5-4. The Wolverines went on to lose to Arizona of the Big 12, which reached the College World Series before falling to future Big West foe Cal Poly 7-6 in 11 innings.
