OREM, Utah – Utah Valley's
Cooper Littledike was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Stopper of the Year Watch List on Tuesday morning. The award honors the top reliever in college baseball.
"Cooper is an ultimate competitor and a consistent worker, which leads him to do amazing things," said UVU head coach
Nate Rasmussen. "Those qualities are great representations of the values of our program."
Littledike finished the 2025 season with six saves and a 3-1 record. The Mapleton, Utah, native logged 31 2/3 innings with 30 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .233 batting average and posting a 2.27 ERA. The second-generation Wolverine combined with
Colton Kennedy to throw UVU's first combined no-hitter in the Division I era and the first no-hitter in WAC Tournament history against Sacramento State.
His performance in the Eugene Regional earned him All-Tournament Team honors after recording the final out of UVU's upset win over No. 12 Oregon. He also tossed a season-high 4 1/3 innings against Cal Poly in the season finale.
