Freshman (2017): Indoor:  Placed fourth in the shot put (12.82m) in UVU debut at the Weber State Winter Open… recorded a season-best mark in the weight throw (13.37m) to place sixth at the BYU Cougar Indoor Invitational… finished 13th in the WAC in the weight throw… 15th in the WAC in the shot put. Outdoor:  Posted a season-best hammer throw (37.17m) at the UNLV Spring Invitational… finished eighth in the shot put at the UVU Collegiate Invite with a season-best mark of 13.19 meters… placed sixth in the shot put (12.05m)at the Weber State Twilight meet… ranked 11th in the WAC in the hammer… 13th in the WAC in the shot put.
 
Before Utah Valley…
 
High School: Competed in track and field at Morgan High School… won the Utah 3A State Championship in the shot put in 2016… was the 3A Region 11 shot put champion as a senior… guided squad to back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016… also played football.

 Son of Lisa and Clay Carrigan… has three brothers, Tyler, Caden and Kade… brother Kade plays baseball at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga. … favorite sports team is the Dallas Cowboys… majoring in exercise science.
