Prepped at Layton Christian Academy in Layton, Utah ... won State in the 100m dash in 2012 and 2013, also won State in the 400m and the 4x100m relay in 2013 ... helped his team to back-to-back Region titles in 2012 and 2013 ... named All State four times as he earned All-State accolades his freshman, sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... received the Outstanding Athlete of the Meet recognition at the BYU Invitational in 2013 ... has posted personal bests of 10.87 in the 100 and 22.33 in the 200 ... also played football in high school and was also an All-State athlete on the football field.
