(OUTDOOR) posted a season best mark of 37.00m in the javelin at the UNLV Classic to open the outdoor season ... placed sixth in the javelin throw at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Yankton, S.D. with a throw of 33.27m or 109[apos]-02[quote] as she helped her team repeat as conference champions.

Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Delta High School ... was a javelin thrower for the Delta Rabbits ... personal best in javelin: 127[apos] ... placed 2nd in State in 2008 and 2009 ... placed 2nd at the BYU Invitational and the Bulldog Invitational and 3rd at the Pine View Invitational ... also played volleyball, basketball, softball and rodeo in high school ... was 1st Team All-State in volleyball and 2nd Team All-State in volleyball and softball ... a 3A volleyball All-Star ... a four-time State rodeo qualifier.
