JUNIOR ~ (2009) (INDOOR) Redshirted the indoor season ... (OUTDOOR) named to the Great West Conference All-Academic Team ... broke the school record in the 1500m run with a time of 3:50.03 at the Mark Faldmo Invite at Utah State on April 18 ... at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Houston, Texas placed 2nd in the 3000m steeplechase (9:30.24), 3rd in the 1500m run (3:57.03), 6th in the 800m run (1:56.94) and completed the 5000m run with a time of 16:26.79 ... at the BYU Robison Invite ran the mile in 4:25.41 and the 3000m steeplechase in 9:30.81 ... best time in the 3000m steeplechase came at the SUU Invitational in Cedar City as he finished it in 9:29.73.

SOPHOMORE ~ (2008): (INDOOR) set a new UVU Record in the mile run with a time of (4:10.62) in Pocatello, Idaho ... at the Snake River Invite ran the 1 mile (4:18.90) finishing 3rd ... finished 2nd in the 3000m (8:42.04) at the Blue & Orange Invite ... finished in 3rd place in the mile (4:15.64) at the Mountain States Games ... took 1st in the 800m (1:56.68) at the Best Buy Wildcat Games ... (OUTDOOR) set a new UVU Record at the UCLA Invite in the 3000m steeplechase (8:56.53) he was also ranked 10th nationally in the 3000m steeplechase with his excellent time ... set the UVU mile record for a brief time on the season at the UCLA Invite (4:19.18) but had his record broken a couple of weeks later ... helped his team to a first place finish at the NAC Championships as he finished 1st in the 3000m steeplechase (9:48.91), 3rd in the 800m(1:56.48), and 2nd in the 1500m (3:59.86).

Prepped at Panguitch High School ... lettered in baseball, basketball, track, golf, cross country, weight lifting and wrestling ... finished third in state in the 1600 and was 8th in cross country ... holds high school records in the 1600 and 3200 ... baseball team finished second at state ... won his weight class in weight lifting.

Other College ...
Was sixth in junior college national cross country meet and seventh in the steeplechase ... was the SWAC cross country champ in 2002, second in the steeplechase at the Independent Nationals and fourth in the 800.

Graduated from Panguitch high school in 2002 with a 3.5 GPA ... majoring in Computer Programing ... was Academic All-State ... loves outdoor activities ... his grandfather holds the Coach of the Year award in Utah for coaching college sports ... he is also in Utah Coaches Hall of Fame.
