FRESHMAN ~ (2010): (INDOOR) Placed sixth in the 1-mile run at the GWC Indoor Championships at USD with a time of 5:18.24 and seventh in the 800m run (2:26.66) ... posted season best times of 2:25.46 in the 800m run and 5:14.23 in the 1-mile ... (OUTDOOR) had season best times of 2:24.98 in the 800m run at the UNLV Classic and 4:52.41 in the 1500m run at Weber State[apos]s Javiers Wildcat Challenge ... her 4x400m relay team put up a time of 4:18.53 at the BYU Cougar Invitational.

Before Utah Valley: Prepped at Mountain View High School in Meridian, Idaho ... high school cross country team won the State Championship as well as the District Championship ... personal record in the mile run is 5:08 and P.R. in the 5K is 18:42.

Personal: Graduated from Mountain View High School in 2009 with a 3.88 GPA ... was an Honor Roll student ... named Academic All-State for Cross Country and Track in high school ... expected major at UVU is undecided ... enjoys visual arts, adventure sports, and culinary arts ... also recruited by BYU, Gonzaga, and Boise State ... most unique thing is her nickname [quote]Bug[quote] ... parents are Brett and Jill Simmons.
