FRESHMAN ~ (2010): (INDOOR) Placed fourth in the pole vault at the GWC Indoor Championships at USD clearing the height of 4.15m or 13[apos]-07.25[quote] ... best pole vault on the indoor season was 4.28m at Idaho State[apos]s Bengal Shoot Out ... (OUTDOOR) placed fourth in the pole vault at the GWC Outdoor Championships in Yankton, S.D. clearing 4.10m or 13[apos]-05.25[quote] as he helped his team repeat as conference champions ... had a season high pole vault of 4.30m at Utah State[apos]s Mark Faldmo Invitational.

Before Utah Valley:
Prepped at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School in Brecksville, Ohio ... was a pole vaulter on his high school[apos]s track & field team.

Personal:
Graduated from BBHHS in 2009 ... expected major at UVU is Mathematics ... his older brother Greg did gymnastics at the Air Force Academy and was a three-year NCAA-placer ... parents are Brian & Cheryl.
