Utah Valley University and the University of Utah meet on the baseball diamond for the final time this season on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. MT from Smith's Ballpark. The game will air live on the Pac 12 Network.

The Wolverines (20-16) have won both prior meetings against the Pac 12-leading Utes (13-19) this season. Utah Valley came from behind to win 7-6 in Salt Lake City on March 29 and got a four-hit day from Greyson Bogden in a 10-4 victory on April 5 in Orem. Junior right-hander Eric Olguin is slated to make his first career start for UVU while Utah will send out left-hander Hunter Rodriguez.

The Wolverines won two of three at New Mexico State over the weekend, winning the final two games of the series. Danny Beddes pitched 8.2 innings and struck out nine in a 7-4 UVU win on Saturday on his way to earning the WAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

In Sunday's finale, Zac Willis had his second straight three-hit day as he and Bogden also had back-to-back home runs in leading UVU to a 6-1 win. Jackson Cofer went five innings and Kyle Valgardson pitched four scoreless frames to earn his second save in as many days. Mark Krueger had an RBI double to extend his hit streak to 19 games, four shy of the school record.

Utah took two of three in a home, non-conference series against UC Riverside over the weekend. The Utes are 8-4 in Pac 12 play and sit atop the standings, just in front of Cal and Washington. Utah hosts Oregon State and UCLA over the next two weekends.

Utah Valley is seeking what would be its first season sweep of Utah and the first season sweep of three games or more for either team since UVU began competing at the NCAA DI level in 2004.

The Wolverines host WAC co-leader Seattle U in a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. MT. UVU is currently in fifth place in the WAC, three games back of the Redhawks, who are tied with Sacramento State atop to the conference standings.
