FRESHMAN ~ (2009): Competed in three of the six events on the season for UVU ... posted times of 17:02.1 (2.5 miles) at the Wyoming Invitational, 19:25.0 (3 miles) at the MSU Bobcat Invitational, and 26:13.1 (6K) at SUU's Color Country Invitational. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2008): Redshirted the 2008 season. 

Before UVU: Prepped at Orem High School ... was a member of a Tiger team that took first in Region and third in State ... was Orem's first runner her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons ... placed eighth in State her junior year and tenth her sophomore campaign. 

Personal: Graduated from Orem High School in 2008 with a 3.90 GPA ... was a honor roll student ... expected major at UVU is Music ... enjoys playing the violin and reading ... her sister Sarah also currently runs cross country at UVU and her older sister Jenn previously did ... parents are Harley and Jodi Blackburn.
