At Utah Valley ...
FRESHMAN ~ (2009): Competed in five of the six cross country races on the season for the Wolverines ... placed 15th overall at the Great West Conference Cross Country Championships at famed Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, N.Y. with a time of 24:11.8 (6K) and helped her team repeat as conference champions ... placed 14th at SUU[apos]s Color Country Invitational in Cedar City as she finished with a time of 23:45.0 (6K). 

Before Utah Valley:
Prepped at Mountain View High School in Meridian, Idaho ... high school cross country team won the State Championship as well as the District Championship ... personal record in the mile run is 5:08 and P.R. in the 5K is 18:42. 

Personal:
Graduated from Mountain View High School in 2009 with a 3.88 GPA ... was an Honor Roll student ... named Academic All-State for Cross Country and Track in high school ... expected major at UVU is undecided ... enjoys visual arts, adventure sports, and culinary arts ... also recruited by BYU, Gonzaga, and Boise State ... most unique thing is her nickname "Bug" ... parents are Brett and Jill Simmons.
