Before Utah Valley:
Prepped at Kahuku High School in Kahuku, Hawaii ... her high school team were OIA Girls Champions as well as OIA Eastern Division Champions ... she was a OIA Cross Country Champion as well as the OIA 3000m run Champion in track ... was a Eastern Division Champion in Cross Country, 3000m run and 1500m run ... personal best in the 3000m is 11:29, the 1500m is 5:15, and the 10,000m is 37:45 ... also wrestled and played soccer in high school ... her soccer team were OIA Champions and she was a State Champion girls wrestler. 

Other College:
Attended her Freshman year at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon ... ran track and cross country at EOU ... placed fifth at conference and her team won Conference and Regionals. 

Personal:
Graduated from Kuhuku High School in 2008 with a 3.7 GPA ... was an Academic All-American and Academic All-State in track as well as an Honor Roll Student ... was a Student Body Historian in high school ... participated in Polynesian Dance, homecoming, student body, preschool, elementary teaching and cheerfest at KHS ... majoring in Elementary Education at UVU ... enjoys hiking, biking and dancing ... her uncle Brooke Haws played football at Dixie State College ... also recruited by BYU-Hawaii and Eastern Oregon ... parents are Lara and Henry Wasson Jr.
